grading

Since its humble roots in the Yorkshire Dales, Textile Recycling hadn't advanced much and the memories of 'Rag & Bone' men were still fresh in many peoples minds. But whilst the industry hadn't changed, the world had, today an estimated 400,000 to 700,000 tonnes of textiles are put into landfill sites each year. Retrograde, was launched to provide a more ethical and environmentally friendly way for charities and the textile industry to dispose of their waste in the most beneficial ways possible.

Although a limited company, Retrograde works in close partnership with the charity sector, ensuring that it remains ahead of the competition in terms of awareness of customer needs, new developments and ensuring new services are developed that truly benifit all involved.

The diverse range of services we offer continues to grow by anticipating trends, improving our standards of performance, and listening to our customers. We run regular checks to ensure every aspect of our service is operating at peak performance and we truly listen to our clients input.

Our unique range of services and support has established our place in the sector. This allows us to make a distinctive and substantial impact for our clients.

We can also provide a wide range of advice, guidance and support to assist our clients in preparing for new legistation and regulations. We closely monitor the charity retail sector and recycling industry for trends and patterns of importance, freely alerting our clients to any changes of relevance to them.
